UPSTATE

We are remodeling our house in Westchester. Previously it existed as a field of experience. Upon entering, you would inherently understand that you were in the house, and would be sheltered as such. To describe the overall sensation, I offer a thought experiment: close your eyes and picture the home of your grandparents, stopping to ponder and touch the objects and surfaces. The feeling of our home is much the same, except the impression of physicality comes naturally, and does not need to be conjured through intense concentration. But, as I said, it is hard to have regular visitors, and so we have decided to add imagery.
